Applications of tungsten carbide bushing

Tungsten steel bushings are mainly used in stamping aspect and drawing aspect. Carbide is widely used as tool material, such as turning tool, milling tool, planer, drill, boring tool, etc. It is used to cut cast iron, non-ferrous metal, plastic, chemical fiber, graphite, glass, stone and common steel, and can also be used to cut heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel and other difficult to machine materials. The cutting speed of new carbide tools is equal to hundreds of times that of carbon steel.
The main role of carbide bushings is that the bushings are a type of component that protects the equipment, and the use of bushings can effectively reduce the wear between the punch or bearing and the equipment, and achieve a guiding role. In stamping dies, tungsten steel bushings are widely used because they are wear-resistant, have a good finish, and do not need to be replaced frequently, thus achieving a higher utilization rate for equipment and personnel.

Tungsten carbide bushings in the stretching, mainly some copper, stainless steel parts of the stretching, because of the use of too high a frequency, easy to heat, resulting in wear bushings, so that the punching needle running position, the size of the product error, and the appearance of the product bad.
With the increase in the amount of oil extraction, shallow surface oil reduced, in order to ensure the use of oil people gradually to large deep wells, large slope well development, but the difficulty of oil extraction gradually increased, so the oil extraction parts require good wear resistance, corrosion resistance or impact resistance, etc..

Cemented carbide bushings as a wear-resistant parts in the petroleum machinery well, with high hardness, good wear resistance, high degree of finish and high performance, has been more and more widely used in modern society to meet the needs of daily use and special performance. Some companies use spray welding process to improve the durability and service life of carbide bushings.
After spray welding, the hardness of carbide bushings can reach HRC60 with better wear resistance, which can meet the requirements of petroleum machinery industry, but the carbide bushings after spray welding need to be turned and machined in order to ensure the dimensional requirements and precision requirements of drawings.

The common tool materials are carbide tool, ceramic tool and cubic boron nitride tool, but carbide tool can be excluded from the hardness of carbide bushing, and ceramic tool is only suitable for finishing process with small margin, although it is suitable for machining high hardness workpiece. Therefore, the most suitable tool material for machining carbide bushings is not the cubic boron nitride tool.
