Selection and Application of Cemented Carbide
1、The same composition, different grain size and organization structure will change the characteristics of the alloy. For example, our company HR006-HR002, the ingredients are the same, the grain size is different, the alloy characteristics are different, the scope of use is different.
2, the same composition, different carbon content, seriously affect the performance and use of the alloy.
3, the same composition, different processes and parameters, to a certain extent, will also affect the structure and performance of the alloy, such as quenching process, quenching the plastic deformation of the alloy and plastic deformation work increased by 0.5 to 1 times, the same bending strength has a different amount of plastic deformation, the greater the plastic deformation, the more work absorbed by the deformation, so that the impact toughness increased by 30%.
4、If the chosen grade is damaged by chipping in use, then, it is necessary to choose a tougher grade again.
5、If the chosen grade is damaged prematurely due to wear in use, then we should choose a higher hardness grade again.
