Carbide is an important industrial material used in the manufacture of cutting tools and other machine parts. It is very important for the quality control and detection of cemented carbide materials. The following is the basic process of cemented carbide testing: 1. Appearance inspection: observe the appearance of the cemented carbide, and check whether there are scratches, cracks, bubbles and other defects on the surface. 2. Hardness testing: Use a hardness tester or other hardness testing instruments to test the hardness value of cemented carbide. This process needs to be carried out under standard temperature and humidity. 3. Chemical composition analysis: chemical analysis method is used to detect the composition of cemented carbide, including main elements and impurity elements. Chemical composition analysis usually uses techniques such as spectroscopic analysis. 4. Microstructure inspection: Observe the microstructure of cemented carbide with a microscope to check the size and distribution of grains and particles, as well as the shape and quantity of grain boundaries. 5. Mechanical property test: Through tensile, fatigue, bending and other mechanical property tests, the strength, ductility, fatigue resistance and other mechanical properties of cemented carbide materials are tested. The above five steps are the basic process of cemented carbide inspection, which can effectively detect the quality of cemented carbide materials.
